In 2010, Sadhana Ahmed participated in the Playwriting Workshop arranged by the Ministry of Cultural Affairs of the Govt. of India held in Santiniketan, West Bengal, India. This workshop helped her transform from a typical Bangladeshi play writer to more of a South Asian Writer. After that, she wrote several dramas for Indian and international audiences. Her mission for searching the global market became successful in 2018 and 2019; she received successive invitations from the Delhi National School of Drama to showcase two of her famous dramas – Matbring and Saptaparnee. In addition, her drama book ‘Angshupot Upakkhan’ got included in the literature department curriculum of the Kazi Nazrul University in Asansol, West Bengal, India.
